The GTM Readout measures your AI shortlist presence, examines your go-to-market and delivers written corrections. It is a ten-working-day engagement for B2B software and service businesses, led personally by Mo Sakr.

How is AI shortlist presence measured?

We build a set of 20–30 real buying questions for your category. Each is asked eight times across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google AI Overviews. We compare your presence with three competitors you name, retain the raw answers and map the sources behind them.

The Shortlist Score reports the measured share of sampled answers that name your business, with a confidence interval. It describes this question set and measurement window; it is not a count of every buyer conversation or a permanent ranking.

Why repeat the questions?

AI answers vary. One answer can show you present and the next absent. Repeated sampling gives a more useful picture than treating one response as a ranking. SparkToro’s research documents variation in brand recommendations across repeated prompts; it does not establish a universal outcome for every category.

What does the go-to-market examination cover?

  1. Shortlist presence: whether AI names you and which sources it draws on.
  2. Offer & ICP fit: your positioning, how reviewers and AI describe it, and whether it fits the intended buyer.
  3. Marketing surface: your pages, profiles, reviews and published content.
  4. Demand channels: publicly visible creative, publishing, hiring and stack signals compared with your stated strategy.
  5. Sales & conversion: a real enquiry submitted and timestamped, with response, routing, qualification and follow-up recorded.
  6. Data & AI return: the readiness of your records and documents, and where your AI spend is returning value.

On the homepage, the two marketing areas are shown together, while data and AI return are shown separately across the buyer’s journey. The scope is the same six-area examination.

How do findings become fixes?

We measure, diagnose and write the repair. Findings are ranked by their commercial significance, with evidence attached. Corrections can include page rewrites, positioning and profile copy, code and follow-up emails. You receive the written work, a staged 14-day execution plan and recommended builds scoped and sequenced by impact.

What does an actionable finding look like?

ILLUSTRATIVE FORMAT · NOT A CLIENT RESULT

An enquiry response that lacks a next step

Evidence
In a real engagement, the timestamped enquiry and response would be attached here.
Finding
The response does not tell the buyer what happens next.
Written correction
“Thanks for your enquiry. To point you to the right next step, could you share your main requirement and when you need it in place?”
Execution
Assign an owner, apply the response and routing changes, then check the next real enquiry.

This fictional example shows the format, not a measured finding, client outcome or promise that this wording fits every business.

What do you need from the client?

A short intake form and two sixty-minute calls: onboarding and the recorded readout. The ten working days begin at onboarding. System access is optional; additional context can sharpen the findings.

What is outside scope?

Implementation, ongoing monitoring, earned-media work and building the recommended systems are separate. The corrections are ready to apply; someone still needs to publish them. You keep the report, corrections, plan and question set. Thirty days after implementation, the included re-measure checks what changed.

What can the Readout promise?

It promises the defined work and deliverables, subject to the service agreement. It does not promise a particular shortlist score, a revenue increase or immediate traffic. Search engines, AI providers, competitors and third-party publishers affect the outcome. The money-back guarantee has qualifying conditions and deadlines in the service agreement.
